The last of my Christmas progress...

Logan will sit still when he has a spoon dipped in almond bark- positive. Logan will run around like a wind up toy when you give him some thing sweet- negative. Actually he was just fine and wasn't even completely excited about the spoon after a few licks. He was the most interested just watching the mixer spin around.
These were so cute once they were all said and done- they are to stir your hot chocolate or to just decorate a place setting. I will probably make them again when Logan and Lane are older and drink their cocoa around Christmas time. Too cute! ( The antlers were a pain- make sure you have time to make these.) Now all I have to do is get all my shopping done- wrap-write out cards- possibly mail them- ahhh who am I kidding-anyone who reads this blog can probably expect to see something in the mail the first part of January! Sound ok???....... I will try and get more up here soon- I have my tree done and some other little dittys around the house too! So far Logan has been really good around the tree, hasn't taken anything down yet!

Christmas Baking!

This is my triple chocolate biscotti. I turned out alright, but is definitely a coffee soaker. The cinnamon hazelnut biscotti is excellent though. It was something I've never made before and will probably make again someday. Thought it was a little different from the regular christmas cookies.

Dipped spoons are EASY! I will make these again- everyone thought I went way out of my way to prepare these- so of course I just let them think that! The toffee bits are extra yummy!

These sugar cookies are Justin's Great Grandma Aanrud's- they are very good and the recipe makes a bunch- Logan LOVES them! I was a bad Mom and gave him one for breakfast the next day- he had some yogurt too of course!

My cinnamom hazelnut biscotti mountain.

And we are not done yet!

This was so fun- I spent just a little bit of time each night arranging decorations after I put Logan to bed. I don't want to take it down though- this took a long time! I love the glass ornaments- they are my favorites! All of my Spode dishes are in full use too- they are so fun and I enjoy them so much!

Preparing for the Holiday Season!

Hello Everyone! I know it has been forever since my last post- but now I will show you what I have been so busy with! As for the pictures when Mom was here- they are on her camera and I saved them in the wrong format- but I promise they will get on here sometime. For now this will have to do. Logan was so tired out from baking cookies he just sprawled out on the floor to take a break. And I LOVE the picture of him watching Justin carrying our wreath up to the house! We Miss You!!

Happy Harvest!

Since he is just too little to help out with harvest this year, he gets to hang out a lot with Mom. Yesterday was finally decent and we got to play outside! Notice how he can stand all by himself!

The Latest on Logan

One of the only things that can him still for more than 2 minutes- He LOVES playing with the dishwasher! He is very serious whenever its open- he means business!
Pondering on what the weathers going to do.

Justin gave him the tube out of a roll of tinfoil-very fun!! (and dangerous to everyone else!) Also- Logan started walking last week a little bit!

Waiting for a ride...

Logan and I were waiting in the yard for Justin to pick us up and go for a ride out to see the Wheat being harvested. He really liked it. And I thought I'd show you all what this little dare devil likes to do- Climb on the outside of the staircase- where you can't put up a baby gate. He is busy to say the least. He can't be left alone in a room for any amount of time. The evenings fly by for some reason...

The Boys Playing

Logan and Lane were playing a little game- Called "Watch Logan crawl around like a maniac and Lane spins the thingy around Game" Both these boys have some pretty cute cheeks! Logan is happy as ever and enjoyed seeing his Grama Kim last week- We miss her already! Life is busy busy busy at home right now- the trucks are moving steady, the Wheat just got off- well, just a little bit left and we start Potatoes September 18th. Happy Birthday Grama!! Our latest start yet- Some of them have blite and some have pink rott- it is a very different year indeed. Hope all is well and we love and miss you all!!!

Please can we go outside?!?!

Here's his new thing- standing at the patio door and banging his hands on the glass. He is a funny kid for sure.

Here are some pretty recent pictures. His favorite thing lately is to bang the handle on the endtable against the cupboard....lovely. The others are him sitting up in his cute pjs and the rest are at Homme Dam. We thought it was too cute when he gave Rilee a big kiss. Rilee is Luke Braaten's daughter.

Summer Fun!

Finally! It has been nice enough for Logan to enjoy his little pool. He played so hard in this thing he took a nap for almost 2 hours- which is longer than his usual. Notice the swim attire- Jody saved Justin's little speedo from his baby days- too cute! And there is one picture here of Taylor Carlson and Logan playing away. Not sure if its a girl/boy thing, but Logan is so loud yelling and spitting away and little Taylor was just so quiet and observant. Notice Logan's shirt dripping wet with drool...an endless battle. He is officially crawling now too- he's got the opposite arm and leg thing going and is getting to where he wants to go!

Randoms

Here are Logan and Lane, June 6th, all bundled up to go garage sale shopping in Northwood. Not even the Moms could take it, we only made it a few blocks.
Here is a sleepy little bear. Sooo cute. :)

Playing one day after work.

Logans cute little cheeks after his bath.

Stop and smell the Lilacs

Here Grama Nancy- I took these pictures for you. I made five bouquets of lilacs on Wednesday after work. It smells so good outside right now, I just love it. In the picture with the red vase- Lynn made me that cute table thingamabob. I love it- it's something a grown up would have, which is why I have it of course! Ha ha! Thank you Lynn, its perfect.
