Memorial Day

Yesterday was absolutely gorgeous out! Logan and I were outside for a good part of the day, planting flowers and playing. We didn't get all the flowers planted, but we did get the planters finished for the cemetary. And today, Logan has little red arms- I felt so bad! He doesn't seem upset by it. He had a hat on, so his head is still white as ever. Justin, Logan, and I put theflowers out on the graves yesterday afternoon. The peonies by Grandma Nellie and Grandpa Jack are still not blooming, but they look nice and green anyways. Oh, and there were already planters by the Bohnenblust and McLaren stones, so not sure who did those. Then we went to Justin Bratlie's Graduation party, Logan was a ham again. It is pouring rain right now, which isn't all that bad for our crops but I don't think too many people are appreciating it right now. Justin has the day to finish up things around home since there is no way they can get out in the field right now- so I made up a lovely little list for him. I was nice though and didn't make him do too much, he needs a day to rest too. Logan is at Jody and Toms- they were waiting by the door for him to show up today. Justin could have watched him, but has to run to Forks this morning for parts and such, so for convenience sake he went to Grama's. Justin did get off of work early yesterday and it was so nice to see him and Logan spend time together, I don't think Justin quit laughing the whole afternoon. It's amazing he said how much he has changed in just the past few weeks. Well, I had better get back to work. There is a stack of paperwork a mile high on my desk, calling my name... Rumor has it that once fertilizer season is over things slow way down- we'll see about that... Have a Happy Memorial Day Everyone!

May 5, 2009

Logan's first time really checking out the grass. My tulips are up too- they should be blooming soon!

5 months old!

This was one morning before we headed off for work. He just looked too cute to not snap some quick pictures!

Green Beans!

Here is the aftermath one night last month when Justin was feeding Logan. He was way too wild to even try to feed decently! Notice the mess. I think the both of them had a good time though. He really does love his green beans!

Easter 2009

We spent Easter at Justin's Granparent' s house in Casselton. I haven't put a recent picture up here for quite some time so I figured I had better get on it! Logan is getting Baptized this Saturday after Mass and that is pretty much all the events happening around here. Hope you all had a lovely Easter!

What North Dakota is good for

We decided to go for a little trip on Sunday afternoon. There is a shot of the farm- looks kind of pretty all covered in white. And here Grampa Ron, is a picture of your favorite thing being put to good use. What is his favorite thing, the rest of you may ask? WIND of course. My Grampa loves wind. Especially, wind when it is raining or snowing or you are trying to do anything outside besides flying a kite. We flew up by Nekoma to see all the wind mills- there are a ton of them!

Johnny Poppers

See my work boots? They are called Johnny Poppers! There is a mirror on his toy and he loves to look at that handsome guy looking back at him.
